How to read your number

Three costs decide every load.

Cost per mile is your total monthly cost divided by the miles you run. Split it three ways and it tells you exactly what a load has to pay.

Fixed

Costs that do not move

Truck and trailer payments, insurance, permits, and licensing. You owe these whether the truck rolls or sits, so idle weeks push your cost per mile up fast.

Variable

Costs that follow the miles

Fuel, maintenance, tires, tolls. These rise with every mile you run, and fuel is usually the single biggest line. A fuel card that cuts the per-gallon price moves this number directly.

Break-even

The rate you cannot go below

Add driver pay and your total cost per mile is your break-even rate. Any load below it loses money. The gap above it is your margin, and cash flow decides how fast you can use it.

From knowing to keeping

Knowing your margin is step one. Getting paid for it is step two.

You can run every load above your break-even rate and still park the truck, because the money is stuck in a 30+ day invoice. Freight factoring closes that gap: Integra pays your invoice amount, less a small fee, the same day you submit load paperwork before the 1 PM CT cutoff. Not a loan, no waiting on the broker.

Every fee appears in writing on your term sheet before you sign. No volume minimums. The quote is free.
